Released V-Ray 2.0 (SP1)


Company Chaos Group , developer of a visualization system V-Ray, has released an update imaging system V-Ray 2.0 to version V-Ray 2.0 SP1 . The new version is now available for download for all registered users on its Web site.
Pack includes the following features:
- Full support for Autodesk 3ds Max 2012
- Fixed several bugs and improved stability visualizer
Download version 2.0 with Service Pack 1, you can download page (registration required) . Versions are available for 3ds Max 9.0 / 2008 / 2009 / 2010 / 2011 / 2012.

Autodesk Maya 2012 Hotfix 1


The company Autodesk has released the first patch and update for Autodesk Maya - Autodesk Maya 2012 Hotfix 1 .
Update is not critical, but includes a number of bug fixes, software updates and expansion of DMM from Pixelux Entertainment.
New in the Hotfix 1:
- Updated DMM ™ (Digital Molecular Matter) Plug-in - to update you can use the simulation to 2500 items.
- On platforms Mac OS X and Linux, DMM ™ became fully support the possibility of multi-threaded computing (Multithreading)
- DMM ™ now does not interrupt the computations on Linux systems
- Panel DMM ™ no longer randomly disappear when you restart Maya
- Problems with Passive Regions corrected on all platforms
This update also has a number of features to install. Now you can not reinstall the package Maya completely. On the Windows platform upgrade is installed over an already installed copy of Maya (the same Service Pack for 3ds Max). However, Max OS X and Linux, at the moment have to install the update, completely re-install.
